Mike
Henri Ramsey was born and raised in San Francisco. He attended George Washington High School where he studied Drama for a short while. He was the youngest of 7 children and was always into entertainment. His father was a Jazz saxophone player and his mother was a singer when she was younger. His brother was also into singing and was a member of group called "Natural High"
Henri got started in entertainment by singing in a group that performed in talent shows aroud the San Francisco area singing the then "Jackson 5" songs. He later joined a band called "Hot Point" as a drummer. After the band broke up, he left entertaining for a while until 2001 when he decided to audition for a musical called "Broadway...a Musical Exstravaganza". Shortly after that he auditioned for a play called "Daddy's Dyin'...Who's got The Will?. He landed the role of "Harmony Rhodes". When that show ended, he wanted to keep acting but, not on stage. He wanted to do movies and found an audition for a movie called "The Revenant" He was cast as "Detective Marion Walsh" He not only acted in the movie, he co-produced
A year later, he was back in front of the cameras in his latest movie "2 Days With Juliet". He played the role of "Henry Goodall", the family accountant for a dysfunctional family with lots of money! Again, he not only acted but this time, he produced the movie.
He will continue to act in more and more movies in the future and looks forward to someday working with such greats as Morgan Freeman and Denzel Washington.
